31.10.2014: Among the top 10 to pitch about Smart Energy Systems (Berlin, Germany)

Easy Smart Grid has been selected among the top 10 finalists in the category Smart Energy Systems. On October 31th, we will have the opportunity to pitch and present our technology in front of important market players of the smart energy sector.

Easy Smart Grid has been selected among the top 10 finalists in the category Smart Energy Systems. This will give us the opportunity to pitch and present our technology in front of important market players of the smart energy sector.
EIT ICT Labs and Deutsche Telekom Innovation Laboratories organize a joint event that will bring together cutting-edge European Innovation, heavy-weight industrial players and a vibrant start-up scene in a two-day crucible. On October 30th and 31st, they will convene in Berlin for a thorough assessment of recent developments in Smart Energy technology and business solutions paired with a critical view on the underlying regulation.


3 reasons to attend this event:
-  The program is meant to be a guideline to discuss key topics of Smart Energy with leading industry representatives, entrepreneurs, politicians & regulators, and academics. Micro-grids and decentralized generation, security, ancillary services, etc...will be discussed during these 2 days.

- Known and promising new Smart Energy start-ups will attend this events. This is a great opportunity to get to know the latest innovations and the bright minds behind them in an informal and open setting.

- EIT ICT Labs Idea Challenge pitch event and award ceremony is a EU wide contest for innovators with the drive to fund a business as well as early stage startups. The competition focuses on the eight most important trends in ICT which are also in line with the Action Lines of EIT ICT Labs: Health & Wellbeing, Smart Spaces, Cyber-Physical Systems, Future Cloud, Cyber Security and Privacy, Internet of Things, Urban Life and Mobility or Smart Energy Systems.  The best 10 teams will pitch their ideas to a broad audience including angel investors, VCs and VCs and an expert jury. The jury consists of representatives from the EIT ICT Labs management, SIEMENS AG, startupbootcamp, the High-Tech Gründerfonds, and Vattenfall. The winning 3 teams will receive a prize package including integration into EIT ICT Labs' network of more than 120 leading organisations, universities, research institutes and companies, and a cash prize of up to 40.000 €.
