Positive initial examination on our Intellectual Property

European Patent Office initial examination report confirms our IP can be protected.

Already in 2012, patent protection has been requested for key elements of the Easy Smart Grid technology. On the one hand, this technology allows to trade electricity with a very cost efficient, robust and secure communication technology. On the other hand, it also allows to implement it within decentral devices, mobilizing and rewarding their flexibility while requiring very low initial and operating cost. Patent rights would allow Easy Smart Grid and their partners to invest into development and deployment of this highly innovative and value creating technology. The initial examination report has checked and confirmed that our technology is not known yet, inventive beyond mere modification of existing knowledge, and can be applied usefully. This  positive report is another milestone within our company development and a good basis for successful patent granting which we plan to apply for in January 2015.
